Jean Bagileo joined the executive search practice of David Powell, Inc. (DPI) in 1979 and has helped establish the company as a highly regarded executive search firm for early stage, high technology companies. In the early nineties, Jean successfully built the firm's Internet sector and now directs executive searches in the software, Internet technology, and e-commerce segments. Her thoroughness in evaluating candidates has received praise from numerous clients.
Jean has successfully completed assignments for Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE), Charles Schwab & Co. (NYSE: SCH), Chordiant Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHRD), Velocity11, and Synarc, Inc.; as well as the key portfolio companies of FT Ventures, Matrix Partners, Mayfield, Palo Alto Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Walden International. Earlier in her career at DPI, she led executive searches in the motion picture and film industry for Lucasfilm, Sony Corporation (NYSE: SNE), Columbia Pictures, and Warner Brothers Entertainment, Inc.
Jean earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Psychology from Santa Clara University. She joined DPI one year after completing her Masters degree.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Jean and her husband live in Woodside. She enjoys travel, fashion, art and entertainment, and physical fitness.
